The Italian Job (8 days)

£216.00 inc. VAT

Drive through France and over the Alps to Turin to explore some of the spectacular roads used in The Italian Job (1969) movie. In Turin see the old FIAT roof top test track and visit some of the major film locations including the fabulous Torino Palavela. The return run deviates from the movie to take in the highest through road in Europe plus a day to enjoy the Burgundy region. As Charlie Croker said “Just remember this – in this country they drive on the wrong side of the road!”

A fabulous tour that takes in some of the most stunning Alpine passes and a perfect match for Matt Monro’s “On Days Like These”. An amazing adventure.

The Italian Job Tour booklet is a 54 page document printed in full colour.

Ring binding and protective front and rear covers allow ease of use for the car passenger.

Overall Route

The tour starts in Calais and aims for the first night in Épernay, in the heart of Champagne. At Dijon we leave the motorway to head south east to Switzerland and into Montreux on Lake Geneva. Visit the breath-taking Aiguille du Midi, high Alpine passes used in The Italian Job movie and Turin. Seek out some Turin movie locations before heading south to the highest through road in Europe that offers unparalleled scenery. A night in Burgundy to check out the local wines and head north to Calais and home.
